PhD Statistics Programs
PhD Statistics: Statistics Option
Provides excellent training in the modern theory, methods and applications of statistics and prepares students to become independent researchers. Graduates are prepared for positions in academia, business, or government.
PhD Statistics: Biostatistics Option
Students pursue course work in theory, methodology, and application of statistics with a focus on developments of statistics in biomedical sciences.
MS Statistics Programs
MS Statistics: Statistics Option
A two-year course based (not research oriented) program aimed at training students to become applied statisticians who specialize in statistical consulting with non-statisticians.
MS Statistics: Biostatistics Option
Students pursue course work in the theory, methodology, and application of statistics with a focus on developments of statistics in biomedical sciences.
MS Statistics: Statistics and Data Science Option (MSDS)
A professional degree program that focuses on advanced coursework in statistical theory, methods, and practice (including professional development and practicum courses) to prepare students for careers in data science.
MS Statistics: Applied Statistics Option (MSAS)
A unique and specialized educational opportunity for students to pair a solid foundation in Statistics with a domain field of their choosing to become a well trained statistical researcher who will work in a collaborative environment.

MS Data Science
A professional program for students seeking employment as data analysts and data scientists, or pursuing further education in data science, statistics, computer science, or related quantitative and computational fields.
