We are
happy to share that our 5th year PhD student Chanwoo Lee won the 2023 ASA Student Paper Award from Statistical Learning and Data Science (SLDS) Section for his paper entitled “Statistical and computational rates in high rank tensor estimation”.
This paper is a joint work with Prof. Miaoyan Wang. Chanwoo has won many awards for multiple papers, including New England Statistical Society student paper award (2022), IMS Hannan Travel Award (2022), and ASA SLDS student paper award (2021).
