Statistical Consulting Lab (CALS)

The College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS) Statistical Consulting Lab is a part of the CALS Biometry Program and provides CALS faculty, staff, and students with assistance in the statistical aspects of research including project development, experimental/study design, data analyses, software use (including SAS and R), interpretation of results, writing of grant proposals, reports, and manuscripts, preparation of presentations, as well as addressing reviewers’ comments.

Faculty, staff, and project assistants in the CALS Statistical Consulting Lab, all with training and experience in bridging statistics and other sciences, are available for statistical consultation and collaboration. Collectively, we have co-authored many refereed journal articles reflecting collaborative research activities and have served as PIs or co-PIs on multi-million dollar extramural funding from sources such as the EPA, NASA, NIH, NSF, and USDA.

If you are a faculty member, staff member, or student in CALS and would like to set up an appointment, please read the Consultation Policies & Procedures and sign up using our online form through a link provided in the Consultation Policies & Procedures.

If you are not currently in an eligible department but are interested in collaborating with us, please send a message to: statconsulting AT cals.wisc.edu
