Xiaoya Jiang is a Master of Science student in the Department of Statistics at University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is also a PhD student in School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
Her research assesses public opinions on societal issues using statistical models, including survey analysis, experimental design and analysis, textual analysis, and time series analysis.
Xiaoya’s papers have been published on journals such as Social Media & Society, Journal of Health Communication, Health Communication, Personality and Individual Differences, Journal of Medical Internet Research, Human Communication Research, and under Revise and Resubmission in Political Communication. Four of her papers were presented at the International Communication Association. Her papers can be found at Google Scholar.
