I am doing the Biometry MS and Jun Zhu is my biometry thesis advisor. My project is focused on comparing random forests and generalized linear models for modeling the spread of irruptive insects. My “home” department is Entomology, and I’m finishing my PhD focused on range expansion of mountain pine beetle into high elevation pine systems.
