If you have a Windows workstation in your office and want to connect to it remotely, see this “how to” from the CS lab: https://csl.cs.wisc.edu/services/remote-access/windows-remote-desktop-howto . It might be easier to move large video files around from there, than from a home, if your home internet is slow.
Kaltura is experiencing long processing wait times to upload videos until they are accessible, due to current very heavy usage. We suggest using different methods to record & share your content. DoIT recommends to use Kaltura *only* for recordings that truly require capturing what’s on the screen, and that are short (5-10 min videos). Also, viewing content saved/uploaded directly on Canvas may eventually become congested and slow to access as well (this is not an issue yet). See alternatives below, for non-Kaltura recording and uploading.
